The Cognitive Failures Questionnaire (CFQ) is a self-report measure that was designed to assess mental lapses. The scale assesses cognitive failures, which is designed to assess the frequency of everyday slips and errors such as forgetting appointments or bumping into things. Examples of these slips or errors include forgetfulness, spacing out, and daydreaming.
